"Where I Forget II" - 80 × 60 × 2 cm / 31.5 × 23.6 × 0.8 in
This is the second painting in the series — and for me, it is the most alive.
I painted it without thinking about how it would look, how it would sell, what the description should say. I painted it in a state I know from dancing — when the body stops being a body and becomes pure movement. When it no longer matters where you are, what is around you, who is watching. There is only rhythm and the next gesture.
This work carries the most of that rhythm. Branches intertwine, flowers appear as if on their own, the pink light in the centre arrived without invitation. And I did not remove it.
Where I Forget II is the densest in composition of all three. If you want to feel what it means to "forget yourself in dance" — perhaps start with this one.
